Hamed Wardak, is delighted at his sponsorship of Nooristan Foundation’s annual gala: “We are dedicated to making Afghanistan a more prosperous and secure nation. We share the Nooristan Foundation’s goals of supporting rural Afghan families with the necessary humanitarian, medical, and educational assistance.” Someone like Hamed Wardak – always working towards improving the quality of life for the people of Afghanistan – is very supportive of a venture that backs charitable and educational projects in the region.
Indeed, we are trying to “give back” to Afghan communities. Through this Nooristan Foundation joint venture, Wardak’s company is developing programs for Afghan people to realize their dreams. And Wardak has done so financially, by donating $20,000 to the venture and being a Gold Sponsor of this Spring Soiree. The gala evening, aptly entitled “An Evening of Hope to Benefit Afghanistan” will take place at His Excellency the Ambassador of France Pierre Vimont’s home in Washington. The contribution Hamed Wardak’s company is making is going towards: a midwife training program, a school for both girls and boys, as well as a program for adults which will help displaced persons find their niche in the workplace. Wardak himself said, “We are dedicated to making Afghanistan a more prosperous and secure nation. We share the Nooristan Foundation’s goals of supporting rural Afghan families with the necessary humanitarian, medical and educational assistance.”
